Our Values

At the AIR Lab, we are dedicated to a positive environment. Our community has a wonderful balance between a comedic, lively, and lighthearted dynamic with a focus and determination toward our goals.

In addition, we understand that members have busy lives and schedules, and we are committed to making our time together as enjoyable and efficient as possible. Our community consists of individuals from all backgrounds who share similar values that are based on respect for all humans and all human rights.

What We Look For

Our team keeps an open mind and welcomes all different types of individuals when accepting new members. A strong desire for research, curiosity, and an admirable work ethic are qualities that all our members possess.

The AIR Lab consists of undergraduate and graduate students. Our undergraduates currently range from sophomore to senior students. These students' interests range from clinical work in psychology to careers in other medical fields and law. Typically, graduate students' interests lean more towards the focuses of the lab and our principal investigator, Dr. Steven Sanders. This includes focuses on adjustment styles, psychological effects of experiences racism, and PTSD.

Appreciation!

Another one of our key values is appreciating each other! Everyone on our team has worked so incredibly hard this year, so we wanted to end the year on a celebratory Dave and Busters day! What an amazing time we all had, and we also want to wish all our graduates a huge congratulations!!!
